Hosting A Really Big Conversation using Achordus
Achordus is a unique online conversation process that brings together 100 – 10,000 people into an engaging, worthwhile online conversation. Achordus combines a proven methodology and process to help create a participatory, involving dialogue where useful discussions on pressing issues can take place. Unlike many other consultation processes and tools, the flow of discussion in Achordus is up, down, across and between participants, delivering a rich, qualitative experience – and the process ensures that this is turned into useful organisational actions.
Our consultant, Erica Packington, is one of only a few facilitators in the world trained and licensed to deliver the Achordus process. At Consultancy Works, we see Achordus as a hugely useful organisational process that can reach across global teams, organisational and community boundaries. Our experience in working systemically means we ground our practice in experience, while helping organisations explore this exciting new means of working together.
Since 2005, Achordus has supported over 25 global conversations in IBM. Recent clients have included DFID, Ashridge Business School and 38 Degrees http://www.dfid.gov.uk, http://www.ashridge.org.uk, http://38degrees.org.uk.
