Sheila is an accomplished coach, consultant and facilitator with extensive experience of adult learning and braodcasting. She was formerly Senior Learning and Development Consultant in the BBC?s Training and Development department, having worked in a variety of management roles within the corporation.

Sheila?s areas of expertise are: leadership development, executive coaching, working with teams, organisational change and action learning facilitation. Her current and recent client work includes:
- Foreign & Commonwealth Office: 1.5 day Leading Change programme for Ambassadors and Deputy Heads of Mission.
- Department for Business Innovation and Skills: facilitation of New Leaders programme for newly-promoted senior civil servants.
- Local Government: Facilitation of Future Leaders programme for senior managers from across the UK.
- ITV: action learning training and practice for facilitators in ITV?s Learning and Development function.
- BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra: ongoing development of senior teams and BBC Symphony Orchestra: team development workshops with all players in the BBC?s flagship orchestra.
- Executive coaching in Ofsted, Treasury, British Council, grant-making charitable trust, housing association, DFID, global retail company, private health and wellbeing organisation, NHS trust.
Sheila holds Level A and B qualifications from the British Psychological Society and is qualified to use several 360 instruments; Myers Briggs Type Indicator Steps 1 & 2; FIRO-B and SDI. She holds a postgraduate certificate in Coaching Skills (Institute ofLeadership and Management) and is an Accredited Coach for Ashridge Business School. Sheila also holds two degrees in English Literature and a postgraduate certificate in education.
