Consultant
Matthew is an organisational consultant, trainer and performance
coach. Alongside his consulting practice, he is also a visiting
faculty member on the MSc Organisational Change and Consultancy
programmes at Sheffield Hallam University.
He believes in aligning passion and creativity to release
potential and realise goals.

to rigour and a systemic approach. I aim to encourage individuals
to develop personally and professionally within the context
of the wider needs and demands of organisations.”
Matthew has worked across a range of business sector. He
recently facilitated group work for the Citizens Advice
Bureau, the largest provider of free, independent money
advice in the UK. The aim was to help the IT division develop
as a team and create clear strategic objectives and priorities.
He has also worked alongside the Organisation Development
Support Service and key stakeholders in the UK’s largest
PCT to deliver Action Learning sets that provide protected
time and support for members to achieve organisational development
goals.
Matthew specialises in the design and delivery of programmes
to develop consulting skills and work with change. Current
clients include MSc programmes at Sheffield Hallam University,
South London and the Maudsley NHS Trust, and Barnsley PCT.
He uses a range of psychometric tools in his work, including
MBTI, TMS, and Belbin. For example, the Myers Briggs Type
Indicator was used throughout a local Strategic Health Authority
to help participants develop understanding of themselves
and colleagues, and to appreciate and positively exploit
difference in teams. He has also used MBTI and Belbin with
the Learning and Development team at Allied Irish Bank.
Matthew has an MSc Organisation Development & Consultancy,
a BA (Hons) Business Management, and an HND Business &
Finance. His professional qualifications include: practitioner
for Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Margerison-McCann
Team Management Systems (TMS) and Belbin Team Roles; CIPD
Trainer and NCFE Performance Coaching.
