McLoughlin
Executive Advisor
Fergal specializes in organisation and management development,
innovation and change. He has worked extensively in Europe
and the USA and has a deep personal commitment to unlocking
the frequently untapped potential in people and organisations.
His experience of working as an OD consultant within the
business and financial world gives him a people
focus, while achieving practical and realistic outcomes.
He has translated this into a new model for developing
internal organisation consultants so that they have a greater
focus on results.
Fergal was previously Head of Education, Training and Development
with Allied Irish Banks (A.I.B.), Ireland‚s largest
financial group. In this role he had specific responsibility
for the management development portfolio for executives
and managers within the A.I.B. group worldwide.
Outside work, Fergal has a keen interest in the theatre
and has directed a number of productions in Ireland. He
is also a teacher of meditation. Both interests provide
a valuable counterpoint and inspiration for his work as
an organisational development consultant.
Fergal has a MSc. in Strategic Human Resource Development.
He currently works with a variety of organisations in an
advisory capacity. He is on the Council of An Taisce, the
National Trust for Ireland.
